Boating

Though we do not offer a boating or guiding service within the park, there are many amazing kayaking and boating opportunities within a short drive. One company we suggest is AguaHielo, run by a former Outward Bound instructor. AguaHielo runs five nights/five days journeys from Cochrane to Caleta Tortel through Baker River, the center of the recent HidroAysen damning controversy. Chile’s biggest river by volume, this big water flows by mountains, glaciers, and remote pioneer farms.

Baker Patagonia Aventura also offer daily full day floating, rafting and kayaking activities from Puerto Bertrand.

Patagonia Adventure Expeditions
PAEX leads custom rafting, kayaking, and pack rafting journeys throughout the region. PAEX guides are swift water rescue professionals and have logged more than 20,000 miles on Patagonian rivers over the last 20 years.
